Guided Development for Officers Under 21

The Staff Mentorship Program provides structured support to officers under the age of 21 as they begin their careers.

Mentor Assignment

  • Officers are paired with a senior security staff mentor (Sergeant or above)

  • Mentorship begins immediately upon reporting to the assigned facility

Role of the Mentor

Mentors provide:

  • Guidance and oversight

  • Constructive feedback

  • Professional development support

  • Assistance with workplace challenges

Building Confidence and Professional Judgment

The mentorship program ensures officers develop:

  • Sound decision-making

  • Professional conduct

  • Confidence in supervised environments
